Stardust Dispatch #9: Cover Reveal for The Heresy of Thieves!

My book has a cover! Woo! I share it with you further down in this newsletter, but before we get to that, I want to make sure to link you to my June Stardust Mix, another hour and a half-ish of music to write/work/vibe to. This mix was inspired by my trip across the country on the California Zephyr line to the Nebulas earlier this month. I'll share a write-up of the trip itself in next month's dispatch.

I have been oh so excited to share this amazing cover with you all for weeks now. The art was crafted by the incomparable Katerina Belikova, who I have long admired for her ability to capture movement and rich emotion in even the bleakest scenes.

What the hell is this book all about? I hear you asking. So glad you asked! Read on:

The Heresy of Thieves is the big, queer-normative, action-packed weirdo secondary world epic fantasy that I desperately wanted to see in the world when I first ventured into adult fantasy novels in the 90s. It is the book of my heart: a story of rebellion, transformation, love, and finding oneself in the midst of a seriously chaotic era.
